National Green Corps/ Eco Club
Club Members: 50 Green Soldiers.
In our school, we have National Green corps/ Eco Club. The Moto of the club is “SAVE TREES – SAVE LIFE”. To save our Earth we have to plant more trees and protect. If we plant more trees, it increases rain fall and provides a good climate to us. It saves children from ill effects of pollution. In our school campus we have grown 10 verities of 200 trees. In the Main Entrance of the School there is a BIG BANYAN tree of about 50 Years old.

Our school has 50 Junior Red Cross Juniors and are active in various activities. Every week classes are conducted on Wednesday. Students are divided into four groups. Daily all the four groups are engaged in cleaning the school premises.
0n 15th October 2012 World Hand Washing Day was observed by our Juniors. The importance of Hand Washing Day was explained to the students by the juniors. Our students are participating in DISTRICT LEVEL camp every year.

In Our school the consumer club is functioning well. There are 50 Members in the club.
The rights of the consumers as provided in the consumer protection act 1986 and consumer’s responsibilities are emphasized through seminars and discussions. Every year 15th Day of March is Observed as consumer awareness day.

National Cadet Corps (NCC)

In Our School:
- The cadets have been a major part in many social welfare programme like AIDS Awareness, health and hygiene and importance of education in rallies held in Thuraiyur.
- On DEC-09-2012, We conducted a rally on awareness of Dengue.
- The cadets visited the “Anbu karunai Illam” an Orphanage Home at Thuraiyur and gave them a small memento.
- Three cadets went to “Nainital” to participate in the All India Trucking camp – 2012.
- Four cadets were participated in the Inter Unit Camp – 2012 at Vallam, Tanjore Dt.
- Fifty cadets were attended combined Annual Training Camp at Thuvakkudi, Trichy Dt. on Dec 2011.
Every year all cadets are passing in the “A” Grade certificate examination.
Bharat Scouts & Guides
Moto: “Be Prepared”
It is consisting of 32 boys, a great and excellent troop of Bharat scouts & guide is functioning in the widest range. This troop meeting is held in every Monday with the presidency of our school respectable Headmaster. By way of this meeting, the students aware the importance of using the waste things as usable. First aid, make cleanliness of our campus, fulfilling the self commitments by self. Thus our school Bharat Scouts & Guides Unit deserves its service.
