Students are encouraged to cultivate good reading habits and use the library as an important centre for learning. In our school library, there are nearly 18,000 books on various subjects. We have rare collections of books related to Tamil and English literatures. Both our school teachers and students were broadly using the library and benefiting.

Our brain is divided in to two parts. Namely the right side brain and the left side brain. Our right side brain controls our left side body and the left side brain controls the right side body. The right side brain makes us to see the color and our left side brain helps us to read the word.

For example, If we see as elephant picture the right side brain makes us realize its color and at the same time the left side brain helps us to read the word “Elephant”

The movements of both hands help to activate the brain. In Abacus we are using both hands to operate the kit. So both brains are involved deeply in abacus. Which helps to sharpen our brain due to this our arithmetic skill improves. We can do addition, subtraction, multiplication and division with many digit numbers without the help of calculator and computer.

It moulds our good character. Give peace to our mind. It keeps our mind Relax. Regulate our blood circulation. Our memory power and concentration will be improved. Muscles will be tighten. To keep the body is condition. Immunity power will be improved. It creates mutual co-operation among students. Keeps our body fit.
